Called ‘The Irish Heart Foundation Stroke Study Day 2024’, the conference will include presentations and discussions by both national and international experts working in the areas of Gerontology, Stroke medicine, Hematology, Neuropsychology, Speech and Language therapy, Physiotherapy, Advocacy and much more with reference to stroke.
Small vessel disease, thrombectomy, CT perfusion, swallow screening, coagulation management and digital information pathways for patients post stroke, are some of the topics that will be addressed on the day.
The Conference will also look at what needs to be done to both represent stroke and stroke needs at a national level based on patient testimony, audit figures, policy and strategy recommendations, and the Advocacy agenda needed going forward.
This is a unique opportunity for learning and discussing new developments in stroke, and will also include an opportunity for Abstract submissions and Poster presentations.
