What is YAP?

YAP is the Irish Heart Foundation Youth Advisory Panel, a group of young people who work with the Children and Young People team to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of young people across Ireland.

How often do YAP meet?

YAP meet four times a year during the school holidays through meetings, workshops and events.

Sometimes for bigger projects we may arrange extra meetings throughout the year. All meetings are voluntary and we will ask if you are free to attend.

Can I join YAP?

Yes. As long as you are aged between 12-17 and can commit to 4 meetings per year.

Email schools@irishheart.ie to express your interest. We will send you out an application form where we will find out more about you.
