How our Heart Failure Support Service Can Help You
We have a range of supports to help you improve your quality of life and increase your confidence.
Support from your peers: many people find it difficult to find and make new connections after a diagnosis of heart failure. Our online support groups and other peer supports will give you the opportunity to speak to people who have been through similar experiences to your own.
Learning opportunities: life after a diagnosis of heart failure, can be daunting. You’ll hear new words and language around your health which can be confusing. Our lifestyle information sessions and online courses can help you in understanding this new language, help you to adjust to your new life and in understanding every aspect of your self-care.
Emotional support: following your diagnosis, you might be feeling low. No matter how big or small your concerns are, our team are trained to listen and advise and help ease your worries.
Information about your condition: when you become part of our heart failure community, we’ll send you a pack containing information relevant to you. From time to time we’ll also keep you up to date with additional information that we think is beneficial and can help you in your day-to-day life.
