The HeartCode BLS course is divided into two parts: an online portion and a structured hands-on section. Before attending the hands-on part of the course, students must complete and pass the online segment and produce a certificate of completion.
During the hands-on section, students practice their skills with an instructor and must pass a skills test to receive certification.
This course is ideal for healthcare professionals who want an alternative way to complete or renew their BLS Course.
Upon successful completion of both parts of the course, participants will receive an IHF/AHA BLS provider course completion card that is valid for two years.
