The Healthy Habits Challenge is designed to promote the formation of lasting healthy behaviours while raising much needed funds for the Irish Heart Foundation. It is a month-long opportunity for your team to prioritise a healthy lifestyle by focussing on blood pressure and cholesterol, physical activity, healthy eating and stress management.
There are two main aspects to the challenge:
Activity challenge
The challenge is simple: 10,000 steps a day – 28 days. We also offer a conversion chart to allow people who participate in other forms of activity to be included in the challenge. Your staff can decide to do this as a team or individual challenge, and they can sign up for free using our partner platform. During the challenge, participants can track their progress, while also fundraising at the same time. You can get as competitive as you like with it, especially by forming teams!
Healthy Habits
We will provide you with weekly resources by email, with information on blood pressure and cholesterol, physical activity, healthy eating and managing stress. This will encourage participants to focus on these areas and help you to achieve a healthier workplace.
