Hands For Life
Hundreds of thousands of people around the country live with the effects of heart disease and stroke. Thanks to the support of our colleagues in cardiac and stroke care around the country, many are in good health. Still, however, some may be more at risk of serious illness if they catch COVID-19.
Our mission is to protect their health and wellbeing, and so we have decided to suspend a number of our community services and programmes including Hands For Life. We will review this decision in line with advice from the HSE and work to re-start these services as soon as it is safe to do so.
In the meantime, we will continue to focus our efforts on providing information, advice and support to people living with heart disease and stroke to help them stay safe. We’re also encouraging healthier members of the public to follow public hygiene guidelines. Because right now we all have to do our part to try to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect the most vulnerable people in our society.
Due to Covid 19 we have had to suspend our Hands For Life programme, but rest assured we are working on something exciting. If you want to be first to find out more, please fill in the form below and we’ll be back very soon.
