We are delighted to have relaunched our face-to-face fundraising programme and we are happy to be back out in communities.
We have a dedicated team of professional fundraisers who travel door to door and a committed professional private site (i.e., podium stands outside shops) team of fundraisers.

These professional fundraisers are signing up new monthly donors to help fund our vital services such as Heart and Stroke Support Groups, CPR training in schools and the Irish Heart Foundation Nurse Support Line, as well as raising awareness of the work we do.

FAQ’s
How do I recognise the Irish Heart Foundation fundraiser?
You can easily recognise our fundraisers as they will be wearing branded red jackets, t-shirts and will carry an ID badge with fundraiser name, unique ID number and the Irish Heart Foundation logo.
What happens after I sign up?
You will receive a phone call to verify the sign up and obtain your feedback about your experience on the day. You will also receive written confirmation of your direct debit payment and updates on the impact your donation is making.
Can I make a once-off cash gift?
Please note our fundraising representatives will never ask for cash donations and cannot accept cash donations in person. If you would like to make a once-off donation, please visit the donation page on our website.
Are my personal and banking details safe?
Yes. Please be assured that data shared between our fundraising partners and the Irish Heart Foundation is done so securely and is encrypted.
What happens if I need to make changes to my direct debit?
If you would like to change the amount of your donation, the date it’s been debited or indeed update your bank details, you can contact our Donor Care team on 01 6685001 or email info@irishheart.ie.
Why does the Irish Heart Foundation use third party agencies to represent them?
This is a very specialised, and logistically demanding type of fundraising. As such, the Irish Heart Foundation works in partnership with specialist, professional agencies who share our values. We focus not only on strong training practices for new fundraisers, but also ongoing quality control and monitoring. By partnering with carefully selected professional agencies we know our face-to-face fundraising activity will be cost-effective and based on the expertise of experienced professionals within the sector.
