This course is designed to help you develop the skills necessary to manage live post stroke or after a heart condition diagnosis and enhance your quality of life. Living with a health condition can be challenging, but much of the associated suffering can be alleviated. Our course provides you with the tools and techniques to live well despite your health condition, enabling you to face each day with confidence and resilience. Mindfulness practices taught in this course can help reduce anxiety, depression, irritability, exhaustion, and insomnia commonly experienced with chronic health issues.

The Vocational Back to Work Programme is a series of zoom workshops taking place over a six-week period. The aim of the programme is to provide a place for participants to come together, learn and develop key skills to support them in returning to the workplace in the aftermath of a stroke. This course will focus on supporting stroke survivors to develop awareness of the requirements of returning to work and development of the personal and professional skills needed.

The Fatigue Management is a series of zoom workshops taking place over a six-week period. The aim of the programme is to provide a platform for participants to come together and learn about fatigue, what causes it, how it affects people, and for each participant to identify ways to manage their own fatigue.

In conjunction with the HSE, The Irish Heart Foundation is facilitating an online Living Well Programme for those living with a heart condition and those recovering from a stroke.
Living with a long-term health condition can be challenging. The Living Well programme is a free 6-week self-management programme for adults with chronic or long-term health conditions. It gives you the skills and confidence to live well with your long-term health condition.
Living Well is a self-management resource centre evidence-based self-management programme originally developed at Stanford University.
