New phone support service for stroke survivors
The Irish Heart Foundation in conjunction with the HSE National Stroke Programme, has launched a new telephone service for anyone who needs support, advice or information in the aftermath of stroke. Patient support groups for stroke patients and their carers.
All our patient support groups have moved online and we also have a number of private Facebook groups where you can access expert information and share your thoughts and concerns with similarly affected people:
Life after Stroke – a Facebook group for stroke survivors and their carers.
Irish Heart Foundation Carers’ Group – this Facebook group is specifically for carers of stroke survivors.
We are continually updating all the latest information and advice on the coronavirus for people living with heart disease and stroke. We have also developed a range of resources to help you stay active, eat well and keep heart healthy.
