Your sitting time indicates that you are in the high-risk category (11+ hours per day).

If you sit for prolonged periods of time you increase your risk of developing fatal heart problems by 64 per cent. The good news is that there are lots of things you can do to reduce your risk. A major source of sitting time is often at work.

A new survey carried out by the Irish Heart Foundation revealed that 56 per cent of people did not try to reduce their sitting time at work. One way to address this is to change your workstation. Why not try a standing desk or stand while on the phone or reading emails?
