You can decrease your sitting time in a number of ways. Sometimes your commute is sometimes a place to start. Why not try getting off the bus a few stops earlier or walking or cycling instead of driving to work.
Remember if you sit for prolonged periods of time you increase your risk of fatal heart problems by 64 per cent.
