Your sitting time indicates that you are in the high-risk category (8-11 hours per day).

People who sit for more than 8 hours a day, double their risk of developing heart disease compared to those who sit for less than 4 hours a day.

A new survey carried out by the Irish Heart Foundation revealed that 59 per cent of people were not given the opportunity to sit less during the day. If it is difficult to get in some movement at work, why not think about sitting less during your time off. It’s as easy as taking some breaks from sitting while watching TV.
