The Irish Heart Foundation’s Mobile Health Unit is travelling around communities in Ireland with trained nurses providing FREE blood pressure checks, and comprehensive lifestyle advice on heart health.
The response to the Mobile Unit from the community has been great. A recent stop at Clane Men’s Shed, Co. Kildare had wonderful feedback.
Tom Murray, a representative for Clane Men’s Shed said:
“Most were reassured about their BP and some made follow up visits to their doctors. Nothing too serious but the sense of reassurance in the Men’s Shed in the following days was tangible. Thanks again.”
Thanks to IHF for coming to Men’s Shed and giving free mini heart checks to people who otherwise might not bother.
