Long QT Syndrome Support Group

The Long QT Syndrome (LQTS) Support Group is for adults and children affected by the condition and their families.

The Group is run by people who have LQTS or have family members with LQTS and is supported by the Irish Heart Foundation.

Living well with LQTS and the Support Group

LQTS is a heart rhythm disorder or condition. LQTS is usually an inherited condition, affecting adults and children. There are a number of different types of LQTS. Different people, even within the same family, may be affected by LQTS with very different degrees of severity.

The Long QT Syndrome Support Group wishes to empower people and their families to live well with their condition. To to do this, the Support Group provides information, support and practical advice as well as opportunities for members to meet or talk to each other.

Meetings, advice and more

The LQTS Support Group holds information meetings, medical conferences, family weekends away (LQTS Kids Camp) and issues information bulletins. Committee members are happy to get in touch with families affected by LQTS by phone, email or in person to share their experiences.
