Heart Failure Support Groups

The Irish Heart Foundation is helping to develop a network of heart failure support groups.

Heart Failure Support Groups are local groups for people affected by the condition to meet regularly, gather information and share experiences.

The groups provide information, raise awareness and offer support and advice on heart failure. Groups also offer activity programmes, which can include guest speakers, recreational trips and services such as physiotherapy exercise.

If you are interested in joining a Heart Failure Support Group, please contact the Irish Heart Foundation by emailing us or speak to our National Heart & Stroke Helpline Nurses –  Freephone 1800 25 25 50.

Our Heart Failure Support Groups are in Dungarvan, Waterford City and Sligo.  We will be launching group in Limerick before the end of 2018.
