It’s wonderful to see events like the Cook Medical Mini Marathon back on the streets. There’s little better than meeting others, getting some fresh air and the all-important Vitamin D for the heart. The support charities like the Irish Heart Foundation get from the public is so important for the continuation of vital services.
Having a heart attack, diagnosis of heart disease or suffering a debilitating stroke can be life changing and something that nobody should have to navigate on their own. Some patients struggle to cope, and families and carers can feel powerless to help.
From a telephone support line, counselling, peer to peer support, advice and information to advocating for improved patient services and CPR training, the Irish Heart Foundation is there every step of the way.
By taking part in the Cook Medical Mini Marathon for the Irish Heart Foundation you will be helping to raise funds for people across Ireland who have been affected by heart disease or stroke. Your support will make a real difference in the lives of real people.
The Irish Heart Foundation is a community of people who fight to protect the cardiovascular health of everyone in Ireland. Our mission is to eliminate preventable death and disability from heart disease and stroke and to support and care for those living with these life-changing conditions.
Thousands of people in Ireland and their carers depend on the Irish Heart Foundation for support and, as a registered charity, we depend on the goodwill and generosity of our supporters to continue our life saving work.
Thank you for your support and if you would like to join our team, email us on firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out the form below and we’ll get in contact.
