Terms & Conditions for SMS Pulse Check service
This service is open to Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 years or over.

- The service is operated by Puca Technologies on behalf of their client, the Irish Heart Foundation, operating as Irish Heart.
- The Irish Heart Foundation is the Promoter of the service.
- To avail of this service, participants must text the word PULSE to 50100.
- Participants will receive a welcome message and then receive 2 messages per day, morning and evening, for 14 days with a reminder to check their pulse. Participants will receive a final thank you message after the 14 day period.
- No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted.
- This is a Free text message service. However the Irish Heart Foundation is not responsible for any charges incurred by the participant by their Network Operator or due to their Price Plan.
- The service begins at 00.01 on 02 October 2017 and ends at 23:59 on 12 November 2017.
- No new participants will be accepted after 23.59 on 31 October 2017.
- Responsibility is not accepted for applications lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
- The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature, in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by acceptance of the terms and conditions or in connection with this service.
- Participants may only sign up to this service once. Service is available to one participant per handset.
- If for any reason any aspect of this service is not capable of running as planned, or there is any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this service, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the service.
- These terms and conditions are governed by Irish Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Ireland.
- This service does not require the participant to provide any personal information. The phone number of the participant’s handset will be retained while the service is available, until 23.59 on 12 November 2017. After this date, the participant’s phone number will be deleted from any lists or databases associated with this service.
- The Promoter is bound by the Data Protection Act 1988 (as amended). Participants can request access to the personal information the Promoter holds about them by contacting Irish Heart, 50 Ringsend Road, Dublin 4.
