Move more during your working day

We spend more than half of our waking hours at work and for many of us, that involves sitting down for most or all of the day.

We spend more than half of our waking hours at work and for many of us, that involves sitting down for most or all of the day.

However, did you know that moving more during your working day can help you feel more alert and be more productive and physical activity can reduce feelings of fatigue by up to 40 per cent.(1)

Being physically active can also release endorphins that can help relieve stress. So, the next time you find yourself in a stressful situation at work, if possible, get up and take a stroll. This will help clear your head while also helping your heart and reducing your sitting time.

Deskercise is a must for those who sit for long periods of time.
